ELEMENTARY CHORUS

The ACA Elementary Chorus is open to all 5th grade students. Composed of about 70 members, the chorus rehearses every week during the school year. The goal of the chorus is to help students continue their musical development through a concentration on good vocal habits and technique in singing. Emphasis is also placed on the development of sight-reading and sight-signing skills, development of an awareness of choral sound, and introduction to singing in harmony. Throughout the year, the chorus has numerous opportunities to serve as ambassadors for the school. In addition to regualr performances on campus, the groups accepts as many invitations as possible to perform around the city.
