Alabama Christian Academy’s elementary has been a staple in the city of Montgomery and the surrounding communities for more than 70 years. ACA is interested not only in the health and mind of the student, but also in the development of the heart.
We’re not just one of the top private elementary schools. Ours is a Christian school, with a spiritual theme incorporated in daily chapels and emphasized throughout the year. The Bible is opened in the classroom and His Word is woven within the curriculum. Administrators, teachers, and staff are expected to build relationships with the students and parents. As ACA families see how the school has their children’s best interest at heart, a trust forms. True and natural learning between teacher and student can begin.
ACA’s reputation for putting God first, others second, and self last is well demonstrated throughout the community through numerous service projects for the American Heart Association, Agape Services, Jr. Diabetes Foundation, Montgomery Food Bank, Heavenly Hats, 100X and many other wonderful charitable organizations. ACA always rises to the occasion when called upon – and just as important, our students learn the value of helping those in need. Through service to others, the lives that are changed begin right here.
Each day, students are challenged with a healthy dose of foundational academics. Throughout the week, the students are also introduced to new concepts in Art, Music, Technology, Math Lab, Counseling, Library, and a Reading Coordinator for K through 2nd grade. ACA’s student test scores regularly exceed local, state and national averages.
Our aim is to help students thrive as productive Christian citizens, with God at the forefront.
