ACA CHORUS The ACA Chorus is having a year filled with great experiences. With Mrs. Angela Dickson as the new choral director, the chorus has been involved in some new activities. It made this year’s debut on stage at the Alabama State Fair. This was a competition that included choruses from all over Montgomery. The ACA Chorus performed with such excellence that it was asked to return and perform its award-winning song “Wayfaring Stranger.” Students are being challenged to advance their knowledge of music and to work hard to improve their vocal training techniques. They participated in the annual Lipscomb Choral Festival this past November in Nashville. At this festival, high school choruses from all over joined together to learn a selection of choral pieces and performed them at a concert on the last day of the clinic. Each chorus attending the festival brought two songs to perform at this concert. The ACA chorus also took a role in this year’s Grandparents Day which was held on February 16th. We hope that everyone will get a chance to attend a performance before this school year concludes. We thank God for blessing our students with such amazing talents!
