Alabama Christian Academy's Theatre Department has grown tremendously over the past few years and has established itself as a superior performance troupe. The program is a process - based program with many opportunities for the students to put these practices onto the stage and perform. Every year the students perform in a student showcase, attend the Walter Trumbauer State Theatre Festival and work in conjunction with Faulkner University to perform a lavish musical. Past productions have included
Thoroughly Modern Millie,
Guys and Dolls and
Jane Eyre. Each year students receive scholarship offers from various colleges around the state for their talent and abilities. The program is open to all ninth through twelfth grade students and we encourage all students with a desire and commitment to participate in artistic endeavors to join in the fun. After all, it is called a play.
