ELEMENTARY FIFTH GRADE HONOR PATROL

Fifth grade students implement their leadership skills by assisting younger students during the daily dismissal procedure. Some students are on duty at outside locations monitoring movement between the children and vehicles. Additional patrol members are assigned to each K-4 and Kindergarten homeroom to assist the students between their classroom to the outside door. All Honor Patrol students wear a bright orange vest which allows others to locate them for help as needed. Positions within the patrol are assigned in a rotating method so that all fifth grade students get to experience a variety of leadership roles.
