| Mrs.
Sherry Beazley teaches 7th
grade English and 8th grade literature.
She received her Bachelor's and Master's
degrees from UAB. After completing
twenty-five years in the public schools
of Jefferson County, she moved to
Montgomery and began teaching at ACA
in August, 1997. Mrs. Beazley especially
enjoys being able to work in a Christian
environment and having the freedom
to sing, pray, and participate in
chapel. She finds the students at
ACA very bright and enthusiastic and
enjoys getting to know them as individuals.
Away from school, she enjoys church
activities, photography, and flying
with her husband, Phillip.

Barbara
Bondly received a Bachelor's
degree from Auburn University. She
retired from the Montgomery Public
Schools in 2002 after having taught
at Morningview School for 28 years.
While at Morningview, she served in
various capacities including chairman
of the Accreditation Steering Committee.
During that time she spent 13 years
being an involved ACA parent. Her
daughter, Brooke, graduated in 1997
and is a pediatrician in Auburn, AL.
Mrs. Bondly is currently teaching
seventh and eighth grade science.
She is an 8th grade class sponsor
and past president of the Gamma Chapter
of Alpha Delta Kappa, a citywide chapter
of an international honor sorority
for women educators. She is a member
of the Catoma Street Church of Christ.

Andy
Bowen is ACA's strength
and conditioning coach. He is originally
from Bonifay, FL and is a 2001 graduate
of Troy University where he spent
2 years as assistant strength and
conditioning coach. Coach Bowen
has also spent time as assistant
strength coach for The University
of Alabama in Birmingham. He teaches
7 athletic classes including middle
school athletics. Additionally,
he serves as an assistant football
coach and the faculty representative
for soccer. Coach Bowen and his
wife, Julie, are the parents of
a beautiful little daughter, Sarah
and are expecting their second little
girl in August 2011.

Mrs.
Pamela Brown is a 2003 graduate
of Faulkner University where she received
a degree in Sports Management. She
is also a graduate of Freed-Hardeman
University where she received a Master's
degree in Education. On June 25, 2011,
she married Chad Brown who is an admission's
counselor for Faulkner University.
Mrs. Brown taught for five years as
a 6th grade science teacher in a middle
school in Birmingham, Alabama. Along
with teaching, she coached softball
as well as the Science Olympiad team.
Mrs. Brown began teaching at ACA in
August 2011 and currently teaches
Keyboarding, Beginning Computer, and
Intermediate Computer. She says, "I'm
so excited to be at ACA! I look forward
to this school year and the things
I will be teaching, as well as the
things I will be learning!" Mrs.
Brown and her husband currently worship
with the University church of Christ.

Mrs.
Calandra Cook came to ACA
in the fall of 2011 to teach in the
English department and serve as advisor
to the yearbook, Montala. She earned
a Master's degree in Education at
Ohio University after obtaining a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal
Studies at Ohio Valley University.
She taught for five years in Ohio
before moving to Montgomery in 2010
when her husband, Andrew, began working
at Faulkner University as the Director
of Bands. Mrs. Cook taught at Prattville
Christian Academy for one year before
deciding to stay closer to home in
order to have more time with her two
young daughters, Teagan and Aislinn.
She comes from a family of teachers,
all dedicated to educating students
and showing them love and respect
as they learn to become knowledgeable,
thoughtful and compassionate men and
women.

Angie
Dickson returned to ACA in
August 2010 on a part-time basis to
teach Theatre. She graduated from
the University of Alabama with a Masters
of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance
and she is now a Certified Meisner
Acting Instructor having studied with
Larry Silverberg at his True Acting
Workshop. While attending the University
of Alabama, she received the Marian
Galloway Award for Acting Excellence.
She has been involved in over 200
theatrical productions in every aspect
both on stage and behind the scenes.
She is still very active on stage
having recently appeared as Margaret
in The Light in the Piazza and Amanda
in The Glass Menagerie. Her other
favorite roles include Desire' in
A Little Night Music and Salome' in
The Robber Bridegroom. Mrs. Dickson
can also be seen performing with Leslie
Bailey in her Cafe Cabaret Shows and
on the Alabama Shakespeare Festival
stage in their production of Trojan
Women.
She holds an Alabama
teacher's certificate and is a certified
Discipline Based Arts Education Instructor.
Mrs. Dickson is a member of the Alabama
Conference of Theatre and the Southeastern
Theatre Conference. In 2010, she was
thrilled to be a Theatre Specialist
for the Alabama Institute for Education
in the Arts. She is also an accomplished
playwright having written and produced
three original scripts. One production,
Mama Hewitt's Family Reunion and All
Night BBQ, written with Jack White,
was chosen to be part of the ASCAP
Musical Theatre Workshop in New York.
There she was able to work with such
Musical Theatre dignitaries as Michael
Kerker and Stephen Schwartz. Each
summer, Mrs. Dickson works with students
from all over the nation as she serves
as the acting instructor/director
for Camp Shakespeare at the ASF. She
is married to Matt Dickson and they
have two sons, Jared and Aidan.

Melinda
Estes received a Bachelor's
degree in Math Education in 1995 and
her Master's of Business Administration
from Auburn University in Montgomery
in 2001. She first came to ACA in
August, 2007, and teaches Algebra
2 and Finite Math. Mrs. Estes currently
attends the Vaughn Park Church of
Christ with her husband and 2 daughters.

Evans holds a Bachelor's
degree in Secondary Education from
Faulkner University. She has been
an English and history teacher at
ACA since first being hired in August
1998. Currently, she is teaching 11th
grade Honors English, AP U.S. History,
and ACT Prep. Mrs. Evans also sponsors
the high school Student Government
Association (SGA) and the Model United
Nations. She enjoys working at a school
where she can incorporate Christian
principles along with her educational
lessons. She is married to ACA alumnus,
Paul Evans. They have two sons, Samuel,
who recently graduated ACA, and Steven,
who is currently attending ACA.

Fisher has been at ACA since
2007. He will is currently teaching
Economics and World History, as well
as coaching boys basketball and golf.
Mr. Fisher received his undergraduate
degree in Christianity and History
from Mercer University and holds a
Master's degree in Social Studies
from Piedmont College. In addition,
he has completed an "add-on"
in Educational Administration at the
Master's level from the University
of Georgia. Mr. Fisher and his wonderful
wife have two children. His son, Griffin,
attends the University of North Alabama,
and his daughter, Claire, attends
Troy University. When he can find
the time, Mr. Fisher likes to ride
his bicycle. The Fishers attend the
Landmark church of Christ.

Amanda
Folds is originally from
Bremen, Georgia. She attended Harding
University and graduated with a Bachelor's
degree in Mathematics in 2009. She
taught eighth grade math and Algebra
I for two years in Arkansas before
coming to ACA. In 2009, she married
Nick, who is coaching and teaching
here at ACA. She currently teaches
sixth grade math and ACT Prep. Mrs.
Folds enjoys playing tennis and walking
their chocolate lab named Jack. She
and her family attend the Dalraida
Church of Christ. Mrs. Folds is excited
to be a part of the ACA family.

Nick
Folds graduated from Harding
University in 2011 with a Bachelor's
degree in Social Science. Before coming
to ACA, he worked with Harding Academy's
football team for two years where
he was an offensive and defensive
line coach. He coached baseball there
as well.

teaching World History and Personal
Finance and coaching football and
baseball. In 2009, he married Amanda
who is also a teacher at ACA. Coach
Folds and his wife attend Dalraida
church of Christ.

Kasey
Gallea moved to Montgomery
in 2004. She is originally from Ontario,
Canada and migrated down South through
a soccer scholarship to Faulkner University.
Ms. Gallea received her Bachelor's
degree from Faulkner University in
English Education in the spring of
2009. She then went on to receive
a Master's degree in Secondary Education
from Alabama State University, where
she was also the Assistant Women's
Soccer Coach.
In addition to teaching,
Ms. Gallea serves as ACA's assistant
volleyball coach and soccer coach.
She is very excited to be part of
the ACA family and considers herself
blessed to be surrounded by such a
strong Christian community.

Gilliam has been teaching
and coaching at ACA since 1991. He
teaches seventh grade Bible and Middle
School P.E. He received a Bachelor's
degree from Faulkner University in
December 1990. Coach Gilliam is currently
serving as the head Junior High football
coach and as head coach in the varsity
baseball program. Teaching and coaching
are things that he loves. Coach Gilliam
knows that God has blessed him with
the opportunity to make a difference
in young people's lives. Spending
time with his wife, Kelli, and their
son, Devin, is very important to him.
His hobbies are fishing and playing
the guitar. His favorite verse in
the Bible is Colossians 3:17.

Chris
Goodman has been employed
at ACA since 1985. He has coached
several sports, and is currently the
head girls' basketball coach and the
head softball coach. He is from Wetumpka,
Alabama where he graduated from high
school in 1980. He has been married
to the former Leigh Medlin from Atlanta,
Georgia since 1985. They have two
daughters at ACA, Brooklyn and Bailey.
Coach Goodman received his B.S. degree
from Faulkner University in 1984.
He has been selected Capital City
Conference "Coach of the Year"
several times in both basketball and
baseball.
He was also named the
"State Coach of the Year"
in 1995, 2000, and 2004, as he helped
lead ACA's baseball team to two state
championships and two state runner-ups.
In 2007 Coach Goodman was selected
"State Softball Coach of the
Year," and his girls' softball
team claimed the 2007 State 4-A Championship
in May 2007. He followed up this feat
by winning the girls' 4A State Softball
Championship in May, 2009. Coach Goodman
has always enjoyed being around young
men and women in the hope that he
can be a positive influence on them
as his coaches and teachers were to
him.

| Manuel
Guice graduated from the
University of West Florida in December
of 2002 with a Bachelor of Science
degree in Physical Education. Additionally,
he has obtained certifications in
biology and middle school science.
Coach Guice obtained a Masters of
Education degree from AUM in the summer
of 2008. He currently teaches biology
and serves as coach for ACA's varsity
volleyball team and as an assistant
coach for the baseball team.

Clancy
Hilyer is originally from
Roanoke, AL. She moved to Montgomery
in 1990 to attend Faulkner University.
After graduating from Faulkner in
1996 with a BS degree in Elementary
Education, she taught as a resource
teacher at Bullock Memorial and served
as a Title I and ESL teacher at Tallassee
Elementary. Mrs. Hilyer is married
to Jon Hilyer who graduated from ACA
in 1991. They have one daughter, Mary
Reagan, who also attends ACA. After
serving a six weeks’ maternity leave
for Mrs. Nichol's class in 2010,
Mrs. Hilyer realized there was no
place she had rather be than teaching
at ACA. She joined the ACA faculty
in August 2010 as the LEAP instructor
for middle and high school students.

Coach
Derek Harrell came to ACA
in the summer of 2009. He serves as
the varsity boys' basketball coach.
He graduated from Harding University
with a bachelor of arts degree in
1990 and obtained his masters degree
in Education – Kinesiology in 1995.
Coach Harrell came to ACA from Arkansas
where he coached at Lonoke and Greenwood
high schools. While serving as the
head boys' basketball coach at
Lonoke, he led his team to two AR
State Championships. Coach Harrell
also served as the head coach at the
Adidas Pittsburgh Hoops Classic All-Star
game in Pittsburgh, PA in 2000 as
well as the AR High School Basketball
Coaches Association all-star game
in 1999. He has been selected three
times as the Arkansas Regions'
Coach of the Year.
Additionally, Coach
Harrell has working experience at
the collegiate level. He served as
the head men's basketball coach
and assistant A.D. at York College
in Nebraska from 2001 – 2004 and as
assistant men's basketball coach
at Faulkner University here in Montgomery
from 2004 – 2006.
Currently at ACA, he
teaches Driver Education and Bible.
He and his wife, Tammy, and their
children, Austin and Alyssa, are excited
about being at ACA.

| Renato
Jimenez is from Mexico City,
Mexico. Since 1969, Mr. Jimenez has
taught Spanish in several schools.
He began his teaching career at the
age of 18 teaching in an elementary
school. After completing his second
degree, he taught high school social
science, history, geography, and civics
for several years. Before moving to
the United States, he became an assistant
principal and, later, a high school
principal at the Hispanoamerican University
of Mexico. Mr. Jimenez taught Spanish
at Central Arkansas Christian School
in Little Rock, Arkansas from 1999
until 2004. Mr. Jimenez' family includes
his wife and two daughters. His oldest
daughter is a teacher and lives in
Mexico City with her husband and three
children. His youngest daughter and
wife reside with him here in Alabama.
One of his fondest memories
is that of his 6th grade teacher in
Mexico. What a positive impact he
had on his life! In honor of this
teacher, Mr. Jimenez pursued a career
in teaching trying to be like his
mentor.

that good work habits, positive thinking
and a great attitude are essential
in obtaining a good education.

Ryan
Kendall graduated from Oklahoma
Christian University in 2008 with
a degree in Secondary Social Studies
Education. He spent the 2008-2009
school year teaching 8th grade U.S.
History in Yukon, Oklahoma. While
in college, he married a 2005 ACA
graduate, Elizabeth Reynolds. They
moved to Montgomery to be closer to
her family. Mr. Kendall and his wife
attend the Landmark Church of Christ.

| Brenda
McCroskey received a Bachelor's
degree from Faulkner University and
a Master's of Education degree
from AUM. In addition to being an
ACA math instructor since the fall
of 1986, she also coached ACA's
first girls' basketball team,
coached volleyball for five years,
and has sponsored various clubs and
classes. She presently serves as the
mathematics and business department
chairperson, and teaches Pre –Calculus
with Trig, Calculus and Advanced Placement
Calculus. She and her husband, Randy,
have two sons, Justin and Nathan.
Justin is a 2010 ACA graduate and
attends Auburn University on an academic
scholarship while Nathan is a high
school student at ACA. Mrs. McCroskey
and her family are members of the

Lisa
Miller teaches 12th grade
English, as well as serves as the
assistant coach of ACA's track team.
She has 2 sons, Tony and Collin. She
received her Bachelor's degree from
National-Louis University and her
Master's degree from Embry-Riddle
Aeronautical University. In 2011,
Ms. Miller retired from the United
States Air Force after proudly serving
our nation for over 25 years. She
feels so blessed to be able to come
to ACA for a second career.
"I've loved the faculty and
kids of ACA for years, so to be able
to teach here is truly an answer to
prayer."
Ms. Miller loves to read, travel,
bake, exercise, and volunteer. She
is an active member of the Alabama
Goodwill Ambassador program. She and

Mills graduated from South
Montgomery County Academy (SMCA) in
1982 and subsequently attended Auburn
University and AUM where she obtained
a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Math
in 1986. Before coming to ACA in January
2008, Mrs. Mills taught at SMCA and
at Lowndes Academy. She currently
teaches Algebra and IB at ACA. She
is married to Tom Mills and they have
three children: T.J., Taylor and Maggie.

Ross
Mitchell is a 1991 graduate
of Faulkner University where he received
his degree in Biblical Studies. He
is married to Tia who also teaches
at ACA. Their son, Clint, is a 2009
graduate of the Academy and currently
attends Faulkner, while their daughter,
Maggie, is a high school student at
ACA. Mr. Mitchell has served as the
minister for churches in Opp, AL,
Ft. Walton, FL and Opelika, AL. He
came to our school in July 2009, and
teaches 9th and 10th grade Bible as
well as helps with ACA’s outstanding
Key Club. When asked what he hoped
to accomplish while at the Academy,
Mr. Mitchell responded, “I want my
students to see how Jesus and His
word can have an enormous impact in
their lives.” Additionally, he commented
that, “It is a blessing to be a part
of the ACA family.” In past years,
you may have heard Mr. Mitchell as
“the voice” of ACA varsity basketball.
He and his family currently worship

Mitchell teaches 9th grade

in August 2007. She is a graduate
of Faulkner University and is married
to Ross Mitchell. They have two children,

Bret
Morris is a 1997 graduate
of Lipscomb University where he received
a Bachelor's degree in Bible. He is
married to Summer, who is also a teacher
at ACA. They have a son, Micah, and
two daughters, Anna and Rebekah, who
all attend ACA. Mr. Morris worked
in full-time ministry from 1996 through
2011 serving in Nashville, TN, Paducah,
KY, Dallas, TX and most recently with
the Vaughn Park Church of Christ here
in Montgomery.
While teaching full-time
at ACA, Mr. Morris will continue to
work on a part-time basis with the
Vaughn Park church as the worship
minister and the director of its Upward
Basketball program. He hopes to share
his passion for the Word of God and
for music with his students at ACA.

Morris graduated from Amridge
University in August of 2010 with
a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies.
Mrs. Morris teaches 6th, 11th, and
12th grade Girls' Bible. She began
her teaching career at ACA in the
fall of 2008 as the Permanent Guest
Teacher.
She is married to Bret,
who teaches 11th and 12th grade Boys'
Bible and directs the Academy's chorus.
They have a son, Micah, and two daughters,
Anna and Rebekah, who attend ACA.
Together, they attend the Vaughn Park
Church of Christ, where Bret is the
part-time Worship Minister and the
director of the Upward Basketball
program.

Mote came to ACA in August
2009. She and her family moved to
Montgomery from Columbia, TN. She
received her Bachelor's degree in

Leslie
Mote came to ACA in July
2009. He is currently teaching health
and weight training on top of serving
as the head coach of ACA's varsity
football and track teams and as an
assistant coach of the JV football
team. He holds a Bachelor's degree
from Harding University in Searcy,
AR. Coach Mote is married to Alisa
who also teaches at the Academy. They
have been married since 1992 and have
three children, Allen, Malori, and
Chase, all of whom attend our school.

Prior to coming to ACA,
Coach Mote served as head football
coach for 11 years at Columbia Academy
in Columbia, TN. Taking over a 4 and
56 program, he guided them to four
play-off appearances. He was selected
as the TN Titans' Coach of the Week
in 1999 and as the Region 6A Coach
of the Year in 2005. Coach Mote worked
at West Memphis Christian in West
Memphis, AR before moving to Columbia
Academy. At that school, he served
as defensive coordinator and helped
guide WMCS to a perfect (14 and 0)
season and the MPSA State Championship
in 1996.

Laurie
Norton graduated from ACHS
(Alabama Christian High School) in
1971. She earned her Bachelor of Arts
and Education degree in English and
history from David Lipscomb University
in 1975, and has done additional coursework
in the graduate program at Troy State
University. Miss Norton began her
teaching career at Alabama Christian
Academy in 1975 and left in 1979.
From 1980 until 1990, she was a district
representative and buyer for Alastar
Food Service Corporation that became
Springford Foods. She returned to
ACA in 1991. Throughout her teaching
career, Miss Norton has taught English
in grades seven through twelve, sponsored
the yearbook, served as class sponsor
many times with colleagues, coached
cheerleading, and has taught World
History, U.S. History, and Alabama
History. Miss Norton helped initiate
the Advanced Placement program at
ACA by teaching the first AP class
(AP English Literature and Composition).

Mr. Chris Parham received his Bachelor's in Music Education from Troy State University in 1994 and completed his Master's in Education also at Troy State in 1995. During his time at Troy, he served as the first chair saxophonist in numerous ensembles, including the nationally known "Sound of the South" marching band, the Symphony Band, and Jazz Band. He has studied with several National Band Association Hall of Fame conductors such as Dr. Johnny Long, Dr. Harry Begian, and Dr. William Revelli. Mr. Parham studied saxophone with Mr. Ray Smith. He continues to perform with several musical organizations including the Southeast Alabama Community Band, the Capitol Sounds, and the Joe Giattina Jazz Band.
During his six prior years of teaching music, his bands consistently received superior ratings in both marching and concert band contests, culminating with being the only band from Alabama chosen to represent the state at the 2001 Peach Bowl in Atlanta, Georgia. His students have also been consistently accepted to several Honor Bands throughout the state.
Mr. Parham is happily married and has two children, Cameron and Kaitlin. Cameron is a student at ACA and is also in the band. Kaitlin is a pre-schooler. Mr. Parham and his family are longtime members of Eastmont Baptist Church. They are extremely thankful that God has provided them the opportunity not only for Cameron to receive a Christ-centered education, but also for Chris to serve as his band director.

Picken attended Harding University
and received her B.A. degree in social
science and her M.A. in education
with an emphasis in psychology. After
teaching in Louisiana, she began teaching
at ACA in 1984. She is currently head
of the social studies department and
has taught civics/geography, world
history, AP European History, government,
and psychology.

Phillip
Randolph is a 1983 graduate
of ACA. He received his Bachelor of
Science degree from David Lipscomb
University in 1988 and his Master's
degree in education from Freed-Hardeman
University in 1995. Coach Randolph
has been teaching and coaching since

Jackson and Nashville, TN.
At ACA, he teaches 6th
grade Boys' Bible and 8th grade Bible,
and coaches the middle school boys'
basketball team. Coach Randolph also
serves as an assistant coach to ACA's
track team. He is a member of and

Christ.

Cindy
Savage is one of the few
Yankees at ACA. She grew up in southern
Indiana but at 18 moved toward the
south to attend Harding University
in Searcy, Arkansas. After graduating
with a B.A. and a teacher's certificate
from Harding, she married and spent
the next four years teaching various
junior high courses in Florida and
Alabama. After taking off a few years
for her own children, she began teaching
at ACA in the fall of 1984. Mrs. Savage
completed a Master of Education degree
at AUM in 1986 and the courses necessary
to be SACS approved to teach chemistry
in 1990. Currently, she is teaching
Anatomy and Physiology, Honors Biology,
and Medical Anatomy and Physiology.
Mrs. Savage also serves as department
chairperson for the science and physical
education departments. She has three
sons, each of whom graduated from
ACA. Her husband, David, is a state
supervisor with the Alabama State
Department of Rehabilitation Services
Children's Division. Mrs. Savage and
her husband are members of the Vaughn
Park Church of Christ.

Lynne
Smith holds a Bachelor's
degree from Troy State University.
Her first teaching assignment was
in the Dale County Public Schools
in Midland City, Alabama where she
spent five years teaching second graders.
Mrs. Smith came to ACA in the fall
of 1986 and taught third grade for
ten years and is presently teaching
sixth and seventh grade math. Since
being at ACA, Mrs. Smith says one
of her most memorable experiences
was being chosen “Teacher of the Year”
in 1991. Mrs. Smith has three boys,
all graduates of ACA, and all three
were her former students. She credits
her first grade teacher for the inspiration
to follow her example in the teaching
profession. Mrs. Smith believes the
best part of teaching is not June,
July and August, but is the lifetime
of memories her students have left
with her.

Stephanie
Solar teaches Geometry and
Finite Math and also coaches middle
school cheerleaders. She started teaching
at ACA in Nov. 2009 after having taught
math in the public school systems
of Mobile, AL, Panama City, FL, and
Houma, LA. She also homeschooled her
3 children before they began attending
ACA. Mrs. Solar earned her Bachelor's
degree in Math and Education from
the University of Mobile.
Mrs. Solar is married
to Ricky Solar, Associate Pastor of
Eastern Hills Baptist Church. They
have three children, Ricky, Savannah,
and Reece, all of whom attend ACA.
Away from school she enjoys watching
her children play sports, traveling,
reading and spending time with her
family. She considers the opportunity
to teach at ACA with the other wonderful
teachers and administrators to be
a special blessing.

Spencer graduated from Robert
E. Lee High in Montgomery in 1981.
She received a Bachelor's degree
in Biology and Chemistry from Troy
State University in 1985 and, then,
attended the Baptist Medical Center's
School of Medical Technology. There
she became a registered medical technologist
by the American Society of Clinical
Pathologists (MTASCP). After graduation,
Mrs. Spencer worked as a clinical
scientist in the chemistry department
at BMC – South.
In addition to teaching
chemistry and physics at ACA, Mrs.
Spencer also teaches Sunday school.
She has three girls, Stephanie, a
2010 ACA graduate, and Rachel and
Allison who currently attend ACA.

Deborah
Streetman earned a Bachelor's
degree from Auburn University and
a Master's degree and an Ed.S. degree
from AUM. She taught for twenty-five
years in the Montgomery Public Schools,
then, came to ACA in the fall of 2001.
She teaches Pre-Algebra and Algebra
1A. Her husband, Ricky, teaches Geometry
at Lee High School. The Streetmans
have two children. Emily graduated
from ACA in 2011, William currently
attends ACA . The family attends Vaughn
Park Church of Christ where Mrs. Streetman
teaches a 6th grade Bible class.

Summers is a 2000 graduate
of Alabama Christian Academy and was
a member of the school's last state
championship baseball team. He graduated
from Southern Christian, now Amridge
University in 2005 and has been married
to the former Valerie Young of Lowndesboro,
AL since 2002. He and his wife have
two young sons, Tyson and Levi. Coach
Summers teaches 10th grade U.S. history
and coaches the offensive line on
ACA's varsity football team as well
as the junior varsity softball team.

Sara
Wallace earned her Bachelor's
degree from Troy University in 1994.
She opened 'The Art Studio' in 2002
where she taught drawing, painting
and portraiture. She enjoys teaching
others how to 're-create' God's creation
for others to enjoy and remember.
She also tutors Korean students in
English.
She is married to Scott
Wallace and they reside in Luverne,
Alabama. Together they have a 'Brady
Bunch' of five. She has two children
of her own, Summer and Logan, whom
she home schooled for twelve years,
along with Sparkplug, a Boston Terrier.
She has five 'Marmie babies', Emnmie,
Jackson Bradley, Jackson Clark, Lucas
and Connor. She is a member of Landmark
Church of Christ.

Joy
Williams was born and raised
in the great state of Alaska. Over
the years, she has moved further and
further south, finally landing in
Montgomery, AL. She enjoys southern
people and their culture, but still
has not quite gotten used to southern
heat and humidity.
Mrs. Williams earned
her B.S. degree in Elementary Education
from Freed-Hardeman University. She
also earned a Masters degree in Elementary
Reading and Literacy from Walden University.
She taught several years in elementary
school, but really enjoys teaching
middle school science.
Mrs. Williams taught
at ACA from August 2006 through May
2008 before taking off a year when
her son, Jaden, was born. She returned
in August 2009 to teach 6th and 7th
grade science. Her husband, Rob Williams,
serves as principal of ACA's middle
school. The Williams enjoy being a
part of the ACA family and look forward
to spending many more years at ACA.

Rhea
Wynn has a
Bachelor's degree from Harding University
and a Master's degree from AUM. A
teacher at ACA since 1986, she also
serves as the chairperson of the language
and fine arts department. Since being
at ACA, she has served in a variety
of capacities including coaching volleyball,
tennis, and soccer, directing the
school play, and producing the school
yearbook. Mrs. Wynn has a daughter
enrolled at Faulkner University and
a son teaching elementary physical
education. When asked about her goals
as a teacher, Mrs. Wynn replied, "I
want to encourage students to exhibit
respect for and responsibility to
God, others, and themselves. If this
goal is met, academic achievement
falls into place."
