Irmy
Fonville - Mrs. Irmy Fonville is the Administrative
Assistant to ACA’s President and the Director of Public Relations.
She is a native of Suriname, South America, where the official
language is Dutch. She taught English as a foreign language
to junior and high school students at a private school in Suriname
for ten years before she decided to come to Montgomery in 1998
and make Alabama her new home. She is married to Dennis Fonville
and they have a daughter, Savannah, who attends ACA. Irmy says
that it is a privilege to work in a Christian environment. She
has been employed by the school since January 2007.

Rob
Lyle – Mr. Rob Lyle is a 1994 graduate of Faulkner
University. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and is
professionally certified through Microsoft. He taught computer
classes at ACA from 2000 to 2004. Since August 2004, he has
served as the school’s full-time tech coordinator. He is married
to a former ACA elementary teacher, Sharon Lyle, and they have
two children. Mr. Lyle’s interests include church, all kinds
of art and music, sports, literature, history, and anything
related to his two young sons.

Dana
Moorer – Mrs. Dana Moorer, is ACA’s first school nurse.
She started employment at our school in August 2007. She is
a former graduate of ACA and married to her high school sweetheart,
Jeff Moorer, also an ACA graduate. They have two children, Jack
and Evie. They attend the University Church of Christ. Mrs.
Moorer graduated from the Troy University School of Nursing
in 1999 and started her career in nursing at Baptist Medical
Center in “Labor and Delivery.” She will continue to work in
“Labor and Delivery” from time to time, but her main focus is
starting a school- nursing program at ACA. She is very excited
about this opportunity and challenge, and is looking forward
to many great years at ACA.

Sandy
Naylor – Mrs. Sandy Naylor first came to work at ACA
in 1996 as the secondary school’s assistant secretary. After
serving in that capacity for two years, she became the secondary
school secretary during the summer of 1998 and has served in
that position since that time. Ms. Sandy has a smile and cheery
greeting of encouragement for all who call or visit the office.
She and her husband, Jim, have three grown children who are
all graduates of the academy. Be sure to ask Mrs. Naylor about
her grandchildren. She’ll be happy to tell you about them.

Harriett
Parker – Mrs. Harriett Parker is graduate of Alabama
Christian Academy High School and a long-time supporter and
employee of the academy. She taught K/5 at Wee Wisdom Kindergarten
from 1971-84, was ACA’s elementary secretary from 1984 until
1991, and served as Director of ACA’s Day Care Program from
1991 until 2002.
In 2003, Mrs. Parker became the Admissions Director
for ACA. She is a warm and caring lady who instantly makes friends
with all those she meets. Mrs. Parker’s children and many of
her grandchildren are ACA graduates or current students. She
is married to John David Parker and they reside in Alex City,
AL.

Tracy
Wilkins Stiff – Mrs. Tracy Stiff graduated from ACA
in 1986. She attended Bauder Fashion College in Atlanta, GA
and obtained an Associates of Art degree from that school. Afterwards,
she traveled the world over 3 years as a flight attendant for
Continental Airlines. Subsequently, Mrs. Stiff returned to Alabama
and worked in politics as secretary for two governors. She is
married to Ken Stiff of Wetumpka and they have two daughters,
Harper and Zoe. In 2003, Mrs. Stiff became a P.E. aide for ACA
and, then, moved to the secondary office as a secretary during
the following school year. When asked why she chose ACA, Mrs.
Stiff replied, “I wanted them to have the same Christian education
that I did.”

Elaine
Sullivan – Mrs. Elaine Sullivan graduated from Alabama
Christian Academy in 1991. After graduation she attended both
AUM and Auburn University. She married Michael Sullivan in 1993.
In 1995 she began a career in the insurance industry. The Starke
Agency, Inc. in Montgomery gave her the opportunity to earn
her agent’s license, Certified Insurance Representative designation
and her Certified Insurance Counselor designation. She worked
in the sales and service of personal insurance for six years.
In 2000 she was blessed with the first of two sons, Hagan, who
now attends ACA. She resigned from her insurance position in
2001 to stay at home with her son. She worked from home for
B & A Distributing Company, Inc. handling their accounts
payable and accounts receivable. The family was blessed with
their second son, Raif, in 2004. Elaine became a stay at home
mom in 2004 as well. She remained as such until Hagan entered
K-4 at ACA in 2005 at which time she became a substitute teacher
for our school. Elaine came to ACA full time as the accounts
payable representative in July 2006.
Elaine and her family attend the University Church
of Christ. In reflecting on her life, she recently commented,
“My mother, Cherry Lewis, worked at Alabama Christian High School
when I came to school here in the first grade. I am overjoyed
to be able to share my boys’ school life in the same wonderful
Christian environment. I couldn’t be prouder to work anywhere
than here at Alabama Christian Academy.”

Charlotte
Young – Mrs. Charlotte Young feels very blessed to
be a part of Alabama Christian Academy and its wonderful educational
and spiritual heritage. She became the school’s accounts receivable
representative in July 2006. She has three children at ACA,
Case, Cassidy, and Carly. Her husband, Bernie Young, graduated
from ACA in 1989 and is a production coordinator at Regions
Bank and a cattle farmer.
Mrs. Young graduated from Faulkner University
in 1991 with a B.S. in Business Administration. She worked ten
years with Southern Orthopedic Surgeons before becoming a stay-at-home
mom.
“Everyone has been really supportive since I
came here and that has helped a lot. It feels like coming home.
My mother went to Alabama Christian when it was on Ann Street
and now my children attend here. It’s a good feeling knowing
that we are part of the very caring and special family here
at ACA.”
